VISIT TO A JAPANESE FACTORY
I wanted to forget about it, but it still greedy remains in my brain, and appears every night in my dreams...
Last week, just because we had a test on thursday, we had to waste the 3 days before visiting a japanese factory, and then, pretending to build a discussion about it, in order to get deeply into the japanese work habit. So, factories available were not so fitting, thinking about everyone's major (chemistry, electronics, computer science, architecture), but maybe, could be interesting as well, just as examples of japanese technology. Description of the factory I wanted to visit: "production of controllers for safety closing doors mechanisms in shinkansen and nuclear plants". I FIGHTED to be there, because the entrance was limited. So EXCITED!

This is the only product they develop. Every different design of it, takes 5 years to be approved before starting to produce it. 9 people, in a garage. Only one "automatic" machine, quite in disuse. Metallic pieces are cutted and holed BY HAND. The assembly is made by housewives, at home, who receive the spare components kits.

JAPANESE ADVANCED TECHNOLOGY...

...Just funny:
some days ago I received these sheets from the company. Rules of the dorm, and an appRication form, to fill and give to the dormkeeper, everytime I'm planning to spend the night not in my apartment. Name, apartment number (can you imagine, in a dorm with 8 apartment in total, and 4 guests...), period, place in which I'm supposed to be, and PURPOSE of staying out overnight. Of course, the company doesn't assume this responsability, if something happens to me during this period...Just to say I received 6 copies, and in the last week, on 7 days I stayed out 8 nights...But, at least, for me is quite simple, I just can make infinite copies of this sample:

MY WEEKEND...PART TWO.
Ok. I left you on sunday night-monday morning. On monday no classes, but just self study at home. Ok, two days relatively quiet, with a nice girl dinner time on tuesday, with my two neighbours, Sabine and Sha. Sweet dinner time, I really missed some girl chatting...On wednesday we went around for our final presentation research. To be said, the topic of my group final presentation (changed so many times) is, finally, yakuzas...can you imagine...And, also, my group name is buke, or warrior's family...I think you really can imagine, you really can do that. So we asked people by the street about yakuzas..like going around in south Italy asking about mafia and camorra...that's it...going to a police station to be filed and just joked, they didn't answer anything, saying our japanese was soooo bad to understand them..luckyly, the policeman recognized I was upsetted as he was, and saved me. So, in the evening, going to some shopping in Harajuku (how can we pass by this station without stop for some shopping? Impossible, if we are talking about a crazy italian girl and a spanish guy, crazy as well...), running as fast as possible to be drunk, we also had to spend all night long in a karaoke, because at 7 we have to be at the fishmarket. Karaoke night really funny!! And the fishmarket? SMELLING... All I can save of that morning is 1 hour sleeping on a friendly warm shoulder...then, going to a nice boat trip, the SAME ONE we did one month ago...totemo omoshiroi, ne...and go to eat lots lots of food -oishii, and what cookers- to recover energy. Come back to home, everybody falling down. But I couldn't go to bed, I just slept 3 hours, in the morning and in the train!!! So, coming out AGAIN, AGAIN 2 hours of train, going to the other side of Tokyo to meet another friend. And, for the occasion, wearing my new definitely japanese skirt (because noone of my gaijin friends could see it ;D)! The place sooo nice, but soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo cold!!! Damn!! FROZEN! With my stupid japanese skirt...but, just I'm an engineer whole hog, I have to consider every possibility, I also picked up my trousers and my gym shoes...So smart, desu ne? then not so bad...And, warm company...Coming back sooooo late, as always...No school on friday, host company visit..but not for me ;P! Self study (a little bit, as always..;P) then, wondering about staying at home, maybe...what? WHAT?? I'm an italian girl, and IT'S FRIDAY NIGHT!!!!So, organizing quickly a meeting with some friend, old and new ones, and ON THE ROAD AGAIN!! Dinner, then ROPPONGI!!!!!!!!Nice nice night, really good company, and my new stupid brown dress...Coming back in the morning lights, sleep 3 hours, study, my saturday night started at 5 in the afternoon: train, destination: TANGO ARGENTINO lessons!! Definitely japanese...just to follow the good example of the tea ceremony girl, who started to study the ceremony in Belgium, where she was as Vulcanus in Europe student. This night, with Barbara...sweet dancer, I have to admit...I envy her...so much :D!!! And then...Shinjuku club!! Impossible coming back early, on saturday night...Finally coming back, again, in the morning lights...Slow study sunday...
And a relaxing sweet strawberry bath.
---THE END---

...pensavo ke solo a Milano ci fossero cadute di stile tipo Ago&filo, ma tant'è...

...karaoke night...

...the one who was enjoying the most...

 ...french japanese cookers...

MY WEEKEND...PART ONE.
A! Gomen nasai...
I have been so busy, in these days...My last weekend started from wednesday 1/11, and will finish in 4 hours. And, as always -of course- crazy weekend!!! The thing I like the most in Tokyo, ichiban daisuki, is that you can do everyday different things, you can try everything you want.
So, summing up, on wednesday, after a really depressing day at school, in which finally I realized I will never pass the f....ng JLPT level 3, I went to Roppongi, to forget, with the help of some mosukomiuru, to an event organized by the swedish embassy, for the swedish-style week, invited by my new swedish friend from the yamanote halloween party (quite strange I take part to each embassy event, but the italian one). And so good, going to GRACE club, usually for 3000yen, noisy and crowded...now TOTALLY FOR FREE. Invited. Been kindly asked to leave a contact to be reached for following events. A cocktail on my table. Lounge relaxing music. Who wants more? So bad have to leave with the last train...
Ok. Next day, after another depressing sample test session of JLPT3, just going to Shibuya to be drunk as soon as possible (maybe, I'll not pass the language test, but I'm becoming so used to japanese habits, especially the drinking one, that people can think I've been in Japan for years...), then...ROPPONGI!! With three guys...a little bit dangerous? Not at all! The night is finished I was dancing with all japanese crazy girls, and the boys sitting on a sofa...It had to be a little different, isn't it?! ;D!
Coming back! Sleeping on the train, every time I woke up I was in the same station...but going in opposite directions...>:-(...Entering my room at 9:00, leaving down my books, having a shower, and going out at 5 to 10, to go to the tea ceremony in the other side of Tokyo...And here, a little paradox. Tokyo is one of the biggest city in the world, but every time I go out, I meet someone I know...as shown in the former post...this time, in the other side of Tokyo, who was the student who prepared us the tea? One of the two girls with who I organized the vulcanus mingling meeting...amazing! Then, going to have lunch, and running to yoyogi park with ball and badmington stuff...passing all the later afternoon in Harajuku to buy a new bag, because I broke my italian one :°(...Here, I must thanks the two gentlemen who came with me, without complaining, when I found the bag I wanted in the first shop we went, but then I looked EVERY BAG in EVERY SHOP in Harajuku, just to come back to the first to buy the first one I saw. Just to be really sure, you know?
Then? Just going to Shibuya, to have a drink...and then? But, Roppongi, OF COURSE! All night long...coming back to bed at 7:30 (this time, I just woke up precisely in my station), got up at 12:30, soujyo shimashita, Alejandro asked me to go with him and a japanese friend to have dinner. Why not? Interact with japanese people is our prerogative...then, spending all night long one stop from Roppongi (theorically, still Roppongi area), in a CHOTTO MESURASHI place...amazing. Coming back in the morning lights, girls and boys in school uniforms, looking at me a little stranged...because, I had a Jagermeister round flashing light on my hair...bed, shower, study (a little...;P), then, nightime! Night trip aruite, by feet, with my spanish brother, two lost souls in Tokyo...taking picture and talking about life...finishing the night in a karaoke with japanese new friends...Thanks Alejandro.
TO BE CONTINUED...

...tea ceremony with Chica...

...Yoyogi park = il parco Sempione di Tokyo...

 ...strange place and amazing company...

...Tokyo night trip aruite...

...new japanese friends!

Emily the Strange - RUESP Quiz

SempreCarnevale

Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens
Bright copper kettles and warm woolen mittens
Brown paper packages tied up with strings
These are a few of my favorite things
Cream colored ponies and crisp apple streudels
Doorbells and sleigh bells and schnitzel with noodles
Wild geese that fly with the moon on their wings
These are a few of my favorite things
Girls in white dresses with blue satin sashes
Snowflakes that stay on my nose and eyelashes
Silver white winters that melt into springs
These are a few of my favorite things
When the dog bites
When the bee stings
When I'm feeling sad
I simply remember my favorite things
And then I don't feel so bad

Loose lips sunk ships
I'm getting to grips with what you said
No it's not in my head
I can't awaken the dead
Day after day
Why don't we talk about it
Why do you always doubt that there can be a better way
It doesn't make me wanna stay
You say we're fatally flawed
When I'm easily bored
Is that OK
Write me off your list
Make this the last kiss
I'll walk away
Why don't we talk about it
I'm only here don't shout
If you give 'em time, you'll forget
Let's pretend we never met

Why don't we break up
There's nothing left to say
I've got my eyes shut
Praying they won't stray
And when I'm sexed up
That's what makes the difference today
I hope you blow away

Screw you
I didn't like your taste
Anyway I chose you
And that's all gone to waste
It's Saturday
I'll go out and find another you

Why don't we
Why don't we break up
There's nothing left to say
I've got my eyes shut
Praying they won't stray
Oh we're not sexed up
That's what makes the difference today
I hope you blow away
I hope you blow away
I hope you blow away

Enjoy life, every second, as it comes, because life is a gift.

The aim of life is self-development. To realize one's nature perfectly - that is what each of us is here for.

Man is least himself when he talks in his own person. Give him a mask, and he will tell you the truth.

Touching is having or getting a zero distance.

Your vision of things depends from where is your point of view.

Remember, time is running. And every second, you can change your life.
